The "Writers on Writing" SeriesThe whole purpose of Novel Writing Help is to teach you everything there is to know on writing fiction. Reading other guides on how to write a novel is pointless, because all the information you need is right here. The monthly Writers on Writing series, then, is not about offering you a glimpse of what other creative writing instructors have said on the subject. Instead, it offers insights into what some of the true greats of literature have had to say about the practice of their craft. In other words, don't expect nuts-and-bolts advice here on how to plot novels and create characters and the like - I can offer you that much. Instead, expect much more general, and probably much more insightful, words of wisdom from voices - living and dead - who have made it to the top of the literary mountain.
